How can I start the programs?

How can I start the programs?

It’s not just a program. It’s a system and it has to be proper configured.

Read the Reference Manual and the Installation Guide and you could also use the "man" on unix / Linux by typing:

  • man dbbu
  • man dbrest
  • man dbquery

You can also contact Ligtas using info(at)ligtas.org so we can Set a time for a telephone meeting where we can highlight what needs to be done to make the system work proper.

There are different types of backup methods that you can use to perform the backups on your databases.

CLOUD PROTECTION VIEW:

Method 1:Cloud Protection mode

1 Mb database about 1 Second

1 Gb database about 1 Minute

1 Tb database about 11 Hours

LOGICAL PROTECTION VIEW:

Method 2: Logical Protection Mode

1 Mb database about 1 Second

1 Gb database about 1 Minute

1 Tb database about 5 Hours

 

SNAPSHOT PROTECTION VIEW:

 

Method 3: Snap

1 Mb database about 1 Second

1 Gb database about 1 Minute

1 Tb database about 5 Hours (First time) monthly

                      About 12 Minutes on daily basis

How is the pricing set for the software?

How is the pricing set for the software?

The payment principle we apply is monthly in advance for the amount of data contained in the database (s) you intend to backup. Debit is calculated on the number of gigabytes / month.

We will therefor need a report of the actual use of data so we can charge you with the correct sum.  The minimum charging volume is 5TB/month.

The pricing is based on a period of 36 months which may be extended for another 12 Months at a time if the user does not terminate the agreement. The agreement can be terminated not later than 3 Months before the end of the period otherwise it will be extended with other 12 Month.

Yes, but we will send an termination invoice for additional 12 month of minimum charging price.
